Great, but...

It had great sound to it, and I gave it a 5 but it didn't have bass unless you really didn't want to put bass in there. Is this a real song? If it is, then it kind of lacks structure, I think you're a musician so you should know.

5/5 Because it had some great licks and riffs in there :)

I was thinking of adding bass. But I was just legitimately lazy and haven't ever played around with how to record bass properly. I figured now wasn't the time.

At first it was a quick write+record because we just wanted something to do. Then of course, I redid the guitar.

If we wanted to make it into a serious real song, it would probably be longer and have some vocals. I believe that at that point, it'd be stage-worthy. But this was just for fun. It has potential to become something we can use in the future, though.

Thanks for the review!

Quite Amazing :D

Wow, you really nailed it on this one. This is a good hyped up techno beat and you utilized strings into it or at least I think. Might have not have been strings, but I loved it. It had great sound to it.

10/10 Downloaded! :)

I like this one

This is a change from the traditional DubStep I keep hearing these days, I like this one. It's a change from the norm. You did a really good job on utilizing DubStep into your ambient track, congratulations lol. Not good enough for me to download, however :(
Keep up the good work nonetheless.

What it lacked: A sort of pathway for the listener to walk on when he or she is listening to it, it was going somewhere and didn't reach a climax where I expected it to be. Structural problem.

What it had: Great feel to it, good beat and an overall good sound to it.

RAPIST SANTA

Heh lol.

LOL

Sounds like it's from Tokyo Extreme Racer, a great game. GOOD WORK!

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

Never played that game before but glad you like

sounds really good

Yeah I like this, the beat is sick

Guffawer responds:

Thanks babe. The feedback is appreciated.

It is definitely DubStep...

This doesn't really have that extra push that DubStep songs usually have. Some DubSteps have that initial riff that goes before everything and it all adds on at once, making that sudden feeling.
although you won't finish, because you say you don't have enough time, I can actually use this for a game. Although I am no game maker. I'll send some of my friends this link.
:D

Trunks responds:

yeah, haha. I just don't have enough time to actually work on something I can be proud of, and the beginnings of Dubstep songs are what make a lot of them so great.

I really appreciate the review, thank you :]

Wonderful

although I could not listen to this more than once, it is simply too much cheese.

This is AMERICA! THE MORE CHEESE, THE BETTER!!!

herm..

It has a good concept but it lacks something. I think that the staccato notes of the organ are quite annoying, and it doesn't have a direct feel to the music. You should add a bass organ that plays some notes that are part of the main riff. Although it is a good direction, it just does not have enough legato notes, making the song seem skippy and just not well put together.

Ritenuto responds:

hmmm....i'l look into it. i'm not sure i feel the same way....but i think i can see your point.

Thank you for actually taking the time to write a review though! Thats what i'm here for.

Quite

This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for blessing my ears with this gorgeous piece of art. I haven't heard anything quite as magnificent since my first visit to Newgrounds, which was quite a long time ago.

Step responds:

Wow, didn't expect such a supportive review xP. Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it!
